Beach
Last attempt at surfing. The first day was awesome! This day the surf was really blown out. You felt like you were drowning just from the excessive amount of spray off of each wave. But the beach was still beautiful!
Granada
Just a few more pics of downtown Grenada
On our way out of Granada we had a run in w the highway patrols. Besides our pockets being a bit lighter we are not much worse for wear. Glad to heading back
Deaf Cafe
Today on our way back through Granada we went to the Cafe Sonrisa, where all the workers are deaf and all the proceeds go towards their pay and their education. It was so cool!

Audi is super tan, look how dark she got after she got her first slight sunburn!
After a long... Haha 2 hours of service we stopped at to place for a break. I requested a breezy spot, and got a beautiful view at no extra charge!
Darin read Wt at the English meeting today. He did an awesome job, especially considering he hasn't had that privilege in many years! They only have one elder here in the group & one servant.
Sunset at La Romansa
Beautiful Sunsets never fail to remind us of Jehovah's glory, as his loving kindness towards us.

Surfing & Boogy-ing
First we checked out the surf at the "best" local surf spot, Playa Medera. It was really good surf, But it was really crowded. We left for our good beginner surf spot. It was knee to chest high. A little big for us, but we had a ton of fun anyway.

Casa in San Juan
The house in San Juan is all open. The front patio is open to a view of the ocean, the back patio is open to a view of the mountains, the kitchen, once you raise the metal storm door is open to the patio. The hallway is wooden slats that let's the constant breeze blow through the house. And all the rooms have those glass slatted windows that open by turning the little handle. It's nice but nothing fancy, no air conditioning... However there is a small amount of hot water, THANK YOU!
A Day at Playa Ramaseo...
What a beautiful day at the beach. Despite the afternoon thunder and light shower the day was quite nice. The Pacific Ocean is warmer than home but not Caribbean warm. Which is good because even at only 86 degrees you still need a refreshing dunk into the ocean at regular intervals.
These are not photos of us surfing but rather other tourists giving it a try. Hopefully there'll be photos of us to post too.
Afternoon intrigue
Jimmy and his wife, fed us lunch after service. Darin helped Jimmy with setting up his wifi and learning how to send pictures more easily in his emails. Audi and I had heard they had a nice pool in their condos so we asked to see it. The pool was so refreshing we couldn't resist putting our feet in... And sister Dexter just went right in, in her DRESS! This couple is not afraid of adventures, they are crazy!
Going to service we saw a man riding a bike carrying a full-size rocking chair over his head, riding down the street. Even the locals watching were chuckling at him.
Service in Grenada in English. I had a nice conversation with a Young man, we discussed the truth tract. I set up for a local brother to come back and start a study in the teach book.
Audi's Party
We surprised Audi and ditched her at a bro/sis house who had invited her to join the young ones for a get together at their house! She had fun! We went to dinner
